Together Again

Trans March 2021 shares your unhappiness that, due to Covid, there will be NO OFFICIAL IN-PERSON MARCH this year.

We are happy to announce that Trans March will be hosting a series of events this year and we would like to have you join us as we start bringing the community back.
The following events are being produced by the Trans Match Planning Committee 2021:

A. Trans March Virtual Presentation & Openhouse & LYRIC’s Virtual Show

Like last year, we will produce a “virtual show’ featuring performers, speakers and information for the community. We also will feature amazing performances curated by Openhouse and LYRIC from the Intergenerational Brunch!

Visit https://www.twitch.tv/transmarch for the show, looping from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 25.

B. Intergenerational Brunch

LGBTQI Elders and LGBTQI Youth will be coming together to enjoy this traditional brunch. This in-person brunch will happen on Friday, June 25, from 11:00am- 1:00pm.

This event is already at FULL capacity and we are NOT taking any more RSVPs. We profoundly apologize for this unavoidable and unfortunate situation. We hope to see you next year.

Presented by Openhouse, LYRIC, SF AIDS Foundation & San Francisco Community Health Center.

C. Trans March Resource Fair – in-person

One of the most important staples of Trans March is its Resource Fair. We have collaborated with SFMTA’s Shared Spaces to create a safe space, a street closure on Dolores Street (between 18th & 19th Streets) to host a Resource Fair that will be regulated with 100 guests per hour. This will take place on Friday, June 25, from 11:00am- 4:00pm.

The planning committee has been working with the Department of Public Health, SFMTA/ Shared Spaces/ SF Parks & Recs in making sure that these events will be meeting all the required COVID-19 protocols for everyone’s safety.
Of course, we want you all to be healthy so that we can march together again, in person, in 2022!

Poster for Trans March 2021.

In main area are 3 tvs to promote the 3 different elements of this year's Trans March: The Felicia Flames Intergenerational Brunch, Virtual Stage, & Resource Fair. Screens of tvs show Felicia Flames at a TM fundraiser, Janetta Johnson & folks from El\/La Para Translatinas on the Trans March physical stage, and a sign that says "Trans is Beautiful" respectively. Background of poster is a purple gradient.

At top of poster is this year's Trans March event logo in 1980s/1990s MTV logo style with TM in big blocky embossed letters. "In person & online" is towards the bottom right in neon letters. Above the "T" are social icons with "@transmarch" and below TM are words "Trans March."

Below tvs are url to TM website transmarch.org, date of the event 6.25.21, and this year's theme "together again."

At very bottom is a white section listing sponsors.
