Thank you for supporting the Trans March!

So it’s come to our attention that we’ve been somewhat negligent about thanking all the people and organizations that have helped make the Trans March happen–it really is the efforts of a lot of people! We seriously appreciate the hard work of the organizations and individuals who helped make the Trans March happen last year and every year. We know we could not pull it off without the generous support, and donations of time, money, and goods given to us by so many! So first, we apologize for getting side-tracked and not giving the well-deserved acknowledgement our community deserves. Second, although it is super late, we would like to publicly thank and acknowledge all those involved in making the San Francisco Trans March possible and fabulous!

Thank you to our fantastic sponsors for all their continued support and help: Dolores Park Cafe, Fresh Meat Productions, Lyon Martin Health Services, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, State Senator Mark Leno, Trannywood Pictures, TEEI, El/La Trans Latina Program, Original Plumbing Magazine, The Lavender Solidarity Committee of Service Employees International Union Local 1021, Transgender, Gender Variant and Intersex Justice Project, Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center, Trans Thrive, Transgender Law Center, SF Pride, El Rio, the Dyke March and all the other organizations and individuals who’ve contributed to the March. Mad love and gratitude!

And a big thank you to all our fabulous speakers and performers: Bay Area American Indian Two Spirits, Rabbi Reuben Zellman, Simone, Tonilyn A. Sideco, Gabe Oi, Thisway/Thatway, Holy Old Man Bull, Amber Gray, Foxxjazell, Akira, RyuQ, Dimensions, Fairy Butch, Alexandra Byerly, MOMMA’S BOYZ, Shawna Virago, Felicia Alvarado Elizondo, Joshua Klipp, Bevan Dufty, T-LISH, Transcendence Gospel Choir, Nori Herras and all the other many folks who’ve helped educate and entertain our communities! We appreciate everything you‘ve done for us, y’all rock!

And a big, big shout out to all our fabulous volunteers: the stage crew, the parking monitors, security, the bucket collectors, the folks who flyered, the people who set things up and everyone who donated their time to do all the jobs big and small to make the march happen. Holla!
