Statement on Pulse Massacre

Today our community has fallen victim to the biggest mass shooting in the history of the US. At least 50 people are dead and more injured after a gunman open fired at Pulse, a Latinx-owned LGBTQ club in Orlando, FL. Trans March stands in solidarity and sends our deepest condolences to the victims, friends and families of all affected by this atrocity. In the aftermath of this event we call on our diverse communities to unite in fighting for our right to live safely and openly as our authentic selves. As we continue the struggle to liberate the LGBTQ community from the fear of violence, we call on our communities to refuse to be divided by hatred as more details of this massacre emerge.
