Thisway/Thatway regards fabulosity as a kind of science and sparkle as a high art. As a solo performer and collaborator, Thisway/Thatway wreaks havoc on stages across the country, including art festivals, pride celebrations, and academic conferences. During the 2009 National Queer Arts Festival, they debuted a solo show entitled Laye(red) about blackness and fashion. Thisway/Thatway is a dandified performance artist who ultimately enjoys the messy collision of glitter and theory.
