Kenya Pfister was crowned on March 21st as Miss Bay Area Two-Spirit. She is a part of the Native American Drag Troupe in San Francisco known as the Brush Arbor Gurlz ran by the matron of the arbor Landa Lakes. Pfister is from Cherokee and Macanese heritage and has been a supporter and organizer recognizing both sides of her family origins.

It is very nice to find another has ones self. To have two Spirits and live life as I trans. Has been a Journey,one I welcome with pride and find we have our up's and down's like many other women. As a Native American I've always been accepted. But when I moved to southern ca, thinks started to changed a lot of hate lives in the world. I guess because most people don't understand who we are.
