Born in Detroit, Michigan Akira grew up in the inner city.  She knew early on that she was different.  In High School she sang in various choirs, concerts, musicals, and competitions.  Now she is currently working on her singing career. 

Akira came to San Francisco to explore and experience a different lifestyle, which was different to her previous one back in Detroit.  Prior to coming to the west coast she had hopes of stepping out on her own to continue her education and make a difference in big way.

Felicia Alvarado Elizondo

Felicia Alvarado Elizondo, Aka: Felicia Flames, Born in San Angelo, Texas on July 23, 1946. She came to California when she was 12 years old.and she is Mexican-American, She is a U.S. Navy Viet Nam Veteran.  She has been involved with Gay and Lesbian Community since 1964. She was involved in the 1966 Gene Compton's Cafeteria Riot, She had surgery in 1974. She is a 100% transsexual woman. She has been HIV+ for 23 years.  In 1987 she began being a Transsexual Drag Queen to raise money for AIDS.

Foxxjazellis America’s first transgender hip hop artist. Noted as one of the first transgender artists to recieve mainstream success, Foxxjazell has performed for thousands of people at the world famous Arena nightclub in Hollywood and in her teen years as part of the group One20five. She has opened for the performers like Cazwell, Rupaul & Robin S.

Gabe Oi

Gabe Oi is a perverted genderfucking fag who sweats glitter and giggles rainbows. When not they're not dazzling the audience with the homofabulous choreography of CHUBB, Gabe likes to show their appreciation for this crazy sparkly city, and all of the delicious queers who inhabit it, by taking their clothes off on stage.

Holy Old Man Bull

In addition to having been a carny, a cook, a migrant filed worker, a janitor, and a radio broadcast announcer and DJ, Holy Old Man Bull (also known as Marcus Arana) has worked for the San Francisco Human Rights Commission since 2000. He has lectured on gender identity discrimination since 1995, and has conducted workshops on sexual orientation issues since 1989.

Joshua Klipp

Nori Herras

Nori Herras currently runs TransPowerment, a Transgender-Specific program in the South Bay Area. She also currently serves as a Commissioner on the Santa Clara County HIV Planning Council for Prevention and is the Chair of its Education and Awareness Committee. She also volunteers at the Billy DeFrank LGBT Center as a support group facilitator and as an HIV Test Counselor for its HIV Testing Program.

Nori has been actively involved in Transgender issues in the South Bay since 2004.

Rabbi Reuben Zellman

Simone

Simone hails from Anaheim California where she has been in the social services field for over 7 years fighting for TG rights. She is now the program specialist for the Trans Thrive program and larger events coordinator for Ladies Inititianting SisterHood. In 2010 she has captured two prestigious titles in SF Lady Golden Gate where she is an advocate for the Tongan community, and Miss Cat Walk winner 2010.  

Tamera Chance

Tamera Chance is a folk guitarist gone terribly wrong. She started out singing in a Catholic choir and eventually played guitar for folk Masses. She then went on to tour up and down the Rocky Mountains doing every Waylon and Willie tune (and Emmy Lou), while being not so secretly influenced by Fusion – jazz/rock back in her hotel room. She eventually wound her way to San Francisco, in search of a real "guitar identity" - like B.B. King, or Eddy Van Halen, (one note, and you just know it's them !!).

ThisWay/ThatWay

Thisway/Thatway regards fabulosity as a kind of science and sparkle as a high art. As a solo performer and collaborator, Thisway/Thatway wreaks havoc on stages across the country, including art festivals, pride celebrations, and academic conferences. During the 2009 National Queer Arts Festival, they debuted a solo show entitled Laye(red) about blackness and fashion. Thisway/Thatway is a dandified performance artist who ultimately enjoys the messy collision of glitter and theory.
