Transgender, Gender Variant and Intersex Justice Project (TGI Justice Project)

The mission of the TGI Justice Project (TGIJP) is to challenge and end the human rights abuses committed against transgender, gender variant/genderqueer, and intersex (TGI) people in California prisons and beyond.

To address the root causes of the human rights abuse epidemic against TGI people throughout the criminal justice system, TGIJP supports radical community organizing and leadership development among the TGI communities, and especially among TGI prisoners and former prisoners.
