Celebrating Jazzie Collins’ Legacy

Dear friends and supporters,

Everyone at the Trans March shares our community’s profound sense of loss due to the recent passing of Jazzie Collins, a dedicated trans activist and a member of the Trans March board. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her friends and in no pain, so she left us knowing she was very much loved.

Jazzie also leaves us with an incredible legacy of social change. The Trans March invites all communities to join us as we celebrate Jazzie’s legacy on Saturday, July 13th from 3pm – 8pm at El Rio Bar (21+) in San Francisco.  She was a gal who loved a good party, so we want to honor her in joy and good spirit, as we believe she would have wanted.

All money raised at this event will go towards the costs associated with Jazzie’s passing and assisting with the travel costs of her family. The door cover is $5 – $20, with no one turned away for lack of funds.

We hope that this celebration honors what the Trans March wants to leave as our legacy. Please join us.
